Cosentino Property Group is the property investment, property development and property management company owned by the Cosentino Family.

 

The group’s rich history dates from back in the sixty’s when Francesco (Frank), with parents Giacomo & Francescina migrated from Melissa, a poor country town in southern Italy, destined for a better life for their family.

 

Frank seized his opportunity at the young age of 17, being granted permission from his father to use the family home as security for a loan to purchase a service station in Ferntree Gully (Kookaburra Gas).

 

Frank, along with his wife Wendy, whom also came from nothing, spent many years in the petrol industry and had an involvement in over twenty petrol stations, with a combined annual turn over of over $ 40,000,000.

 

From service stations to surf wear, in the early 2000’s, Planet Surf was founded, which would eventually be the inception of son’s Giacomo (Jacob) entrepreneurial career. At the age of 17, Jacob left school and began working in the family business. Over the course of ten years, revenue of Planet Surf would be seen to grow to a turn over of over $ 25,000,000, and eventually be sold to Rip Curl in 2014.

 

During the course of these events being involved in various types of business, Cosentino Group have been involved in over $ 50,000,000 worth of property development deals including petrol stations, self serve car washes, retail showrooms, factories, luxury homes and townhouses.
